In about 20 years, Atasehir evolved from a satellite city project to a district that hosts hundreds of thousands of people. This evolution made Atasehir a symbol of Istanbul’s continuous expansion on horizontal and vertical axles. The photographs examine the fragmented visual identity of the district.
